Terms of Service

By accessing or using EventPass ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including hosts, pass buyers, and visitors.

EventPass is a platform that enables Discord server administrators and designated hosts to create paid voice channel events. Members may purchase passes to gain access to these private voice channels. EventPass acts as a technology platform and is not a party to transactions between hosts and buyers.

EventPass charges a 10% platform fee on each ticket sold. This fee is deducted at the payment processing level via Stripe Connect. Stripe's own payment processing fees are separate and apply in addition to our platform fee. The exact amount a host receives depends on Stripe's current fee structure in their country.

We do not guarantee any specific net payout amount to hosts, as Stripe's processing fees vary by card type, country, and payment method.

EventPass uses a hold and capture payment model. When a buyer purchases a pass, their card is authorized (held) but not charged immediately. The charge is only completed after the event ends, provided the host met the minimum attendance threshold (50% of the scheduled event duration). If the host does not meet this threshold, all holds are automatically released and buyers are not charged.

You must authenticate via Discord OAuth to use EventPass. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. EventPass is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

Hosts are responsible for delivering the events they advertise. EventPass does not guarantee event quality or delivery. Hosts must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. EventPass reserves the right to suspend hosts who violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Hosts acknowledge that failure to attend at least 50% of their scheduled event duration will result in automatic release of all buyer payment holds and no payout to the host.

• Creating fraudulent or deceptive events
• Selling passes for events you do not intend to host
• Using the platform for illegal activities
• Attempting to circumvent platform fees or attendance tracking
• Harassing or abusing other users

EventPass uses a payment hold model — buyers are not charged until after the event ends and only if the host met the attendance threshold. If the host does not meet the threshold, holds are automatically released and no charge is made. For events that were charged, refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

EventPass is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost revenue from events, technical failures, or Discord platform issues outside our control.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violation of these terms, without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will attempt to notify users of significant changes via the platform.
